Student Lighthouse Team

The Student Lighthouse group is responsible for planning and participating in Leadership Assemblies, communicating school events and service projects, providing tours, and updating the community. These students are encouraged to notice and celebrate the leadership qualities with their peers throughout the year. They serve as the voice for the student body that helps make critical decisions in the school. It consists of 3^rd, 4^th, and 5^th graders who apply at the beginning of every year. Previous years Lighthouse Students serve as Student Ambassadors in the Fall to establish a since of belonging for students new to Shaffer.
